Scott Edwards, owner of Custom Builders Group, along with his field crew and shop crew share a combined carpentry experience of over 70 years. Scott has over 21 years of carpentry experience. He hires only the most reliable and experienced carpenters he can find.

Custom Builders Group produces their finely crafted woodworks out of a 5000 square foot facility. The facility is fully equipped with the modern tools necessary for producing high quality products.

Background

Scott Edwards, owner and founder of Custom Builders Group, started his career as a construction craftsman at Western Millwork and Graphics (WMG) in 1988 as a shop apprentice. WMG was a family business and Scott’s father, a second-generation carpenter, provided Scott with the mentoring and encouragement that inspired Scott to start a construction business of his own.

WMG has since closed up shop, but the Edward family’s commitment to construction craftsmanship continues on. Scott Edwards, sole proprietor, created the company Edwards Interiors (EI). For the last 18 years, Scott has successfully developed an impeccable business reputation around the Portland Metro area and SW Washington.

Before expanding EI into the business it is today, Custom Builders Group, Scott perfected his passion for crafting wood into beautiful products one job at a time. His experience working for demanding and highly reputable clients has allowed him to facilitate a more diverse workload.
